Import Export

In addition to scanning information in to the master or the slave part of a database, it is also possible to import the content of an existing Dup Finder database.

There are 4 combinations:

  • External master part to the current master
  • External slave part to the current master
  • External master part to the current slave
  • External slave part to the current slave

But please note, that all of these empty the destination before importing the information.

It is not possible to merge imported information with existing information.

It is not possible to export data from a database to another database.

If that is what you need, then copy the database file, rename the copy, and then using Dup Finder you can remove the entries that you do not want.

I thought about exporting entries to a comma separated format, but have not yet seen the need to support such a feature.
